This is the best list EVER!!!! I am going to laminate it and save it for when we need it! Love the gotcha day outfit- so sweet!
Carolyn

LIZ
A gotcha day outfit- Rhonda- you have her outfit and clothes all ready for her! It's such a cute outfit. What a list- I don't know how all that will fit in the suitcases- one day I will email you in a panic for how to do it!!!
Ramona
First of all, everyone is right, I love the outfit too. The list is great, I plan to also copy it. Wow lots of organization. This is so exciting, for now I feel lucky to follow everyone elses stories to carry us to our referral date.
Carey
love the outfit!! Great choice! And wow your list is amazing!
Looks like a fantastic list!! And OMG, what a CUTE gotcha day outfit!! I'm looking so forward to seeing pictures of her wearing it!!
Excellent list! All kinds of good stuff. Boudreaux's Butt Paste ROCKS. So does Ovol. Two of the best baby-maintenance items ever invented.
One thing to check -- the nasal aspirator we got was too big for tiny nostrils.
Also, do you need me to try to get some disposable washcloths for you? If so, just shoot me an email and let me know.
Looks like you have everything covered! Way to go Mom!
Love the outfit you picked !!!
WOW, you have a GREAT list... will keep it for our next adoption to use it !!!
Just a comment about the nipples.. it says 10 slow flow and only 2 fast flow... I think I would bring more fast flow... usualy babies take fast flow around 3 months.... that's whey they say on the box you can use them anyways.. some babies before, however Yakim is now 7 months old and he has been on the fast nipples since 3 months and there is no way he would drink from the slow flow too frustrating.. so to be safe I think I would bring more fast flow.. I know that sometimesin Ethiopia, they even cut the nipples so it would flow faster so slow might not work at all..
Anyways just my two cents...
Lisa
Great list! Thanks for posting it, I will use it to check over the list I have going.
The outfit is just sweet! Can't wait to see a picture of her wearing it.
Deanna
Wow!-Aren't you the queen of organization!!!Your list looks very amazing. Did you find baby tylenol cold/ sinus? I thought they took it off the market. I have not had much luck with the nasal aspirtators. I threw mine at the wall. What a cut gotha out fit! Packing must be so exciting!!!
Jodie
What a great list! I'm filing it for future reference. Kris better start making one so he doesn't forget anything in his last minute packing, lol
I love her little outfit. I can't wait to see photos of her in it.
Super cute pick for the gotcha day outfit...she'll look like a star! As for the list, looks like you've got it covered. Seriously that kid has a pair of bottoms for every day that you are there, haha! Well I guess she IS a girl! As for the nipples, Yonas at 9 months took slow, fast and variable...he didn't care either way.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!!!
You are mega organized. Since I just travelled with the same age, I think I have some comments...I say bring more than 2 fast flow nipples. Maya has finally warmed up to them and that is now all she uses. Also bring more than 1 soother - like 4. You may want to get a couple 6+ ones too. Also soother clips - more than one - things get lost. Soothers fall on airplane floors!
RE. the change pad. I can't see why you would need 3. Nasal aspirator - I have never used. Not sure if you had saline drops on your list or not. Bring some. Those will soften the boogers then she'll sneeze them out or you can pick them out.
Good luck! Dana. Maybe we'lll come see you this weekend if you are around.
I should have added.. "not like my travel experience will be anything like yours". Obviously. Dana
Oh yes and I would also bring a dozen or so cloth bibs. She is probably drooling like crazy and bibs will save your shirts. Wipeable ones won't work b/c you can't use them to wipe her face. You can buy a pack of 12 at walmart for $10. Dana.
Looks good to me, but I have no idea - lol!! I'm going to print this list off and put it in our dossier folder for next year!
Wow! This is an insanely thorough list. You are SO organied. Way to go! I brought like a quarter of that and survived so you will be more than fine!!!
I just can't wait to see you and Eden united. What an amazing Easter you are going to have.
Well Mommy is a lot more organized than Eden's Oma!!!! Make sure mom & Dad that you have Oma Corrie & Grandpa Richard's phone number or e-mail address as #1 on your list of things to do when you get there with your beautiful daughter in your arms. Safe travels. Love Mom
oh that little outfit just makes me want to cry. Sooo cute. I can't wait to hear that you are on your way.
Did you see ER lastnight? If you did, I bet you bawled like a baby as I did.
Tasha
That is some list!! i look forward to 'borrowing' it :) Sweet outfit - looking forward to seeing Eden in it!!!!
I LOve the outfit! Too cute! Can't wait to see pistures of her in it.
Your list is amazing and I will file it away for the day I travel! PLlease let me in on your secret of how you are going to fit it all in!
Donna
Rhonda, I love Eden's gotcha outfit - have you picked out yours yet?
I'm going to poach from your list (one of the benefits of waiting...).
A couple of items you might want to add to your list:
- non-latex gloves
- disposable change pads - apparently they are handy for some of the less sanitary locations you might find yourself changing Eden.
Also, it's been suggested that you pack "KITS" for her flight home. Fill XL ziploc bags with a change of clothes, diapers & wipes so that you have everything all together & don't have to cart a big bag into the WC. You can then seal the soiled clothes in the ziploc bag. Also, my friend needed 5 changes of baby clothes for the flight home - just so you know this is one time when you can't over pack :-)
